Eric Herrenkohl is President of Herrenkohl Consulting and author of the new book How to Hire A-Players, published by John Wiley & Sons and described as “the definitive book on talent acquisition.”

Herrenkohl Consulting works with executives in Fortune 500 and mid-sized businesses to create the businesses they want by building the organizations they need. The firm’s client list includes Aramark, Bank of America, Edward Jones, Ernst & Young, New Balance, Northwestern Mutual Life and privately-held businesses across 50 industries.

Eric has over 20 years of experience in executive coaching, consulting, and personnel assessment. Previous to founding Herrenkohl Consulting in 2002, he worked in the sales incentive and recruiting industries, focusing on all aspects of recruiting and coaching A-player teams.

Eric serves as an expert author for Monster.com. His work has been cited by Business Week, Fox News, NBC News, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Inc.com, Careerbuilder.com, and MSNBC.com. His monthly e-letter Performance Principles brings strategies for building businesses to readers around the globe.

Eric holds a Master of Divinity degree from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis and an undergraduate degree in economics and history from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He and his wife and four children live in the Philadelphia area.
